Dolfi products are different. Every figure that Dolfi produces is crafted by hand, thus being imparted with its very own identity. No two are alike. With a great love for detail, the singular contours are worked out and the individual expression achieves completion through painting by the hand of the master. All of our figures are carved in Urtijëi (also known as Ortisei or St. Ulrich) in South Tyrol, Italy.

Preserving the craft of woodcarving at Dolfi is based upon more than eleven decades of tradition and fascination combined with passion and know-how. The development of their handmade models follows this tenet. Artisans create designs for perfectly balanced, freestanding sculptures, with the figure and base made from a single piece. Through the use of a draft, a three-dimensional clay model is created from which all subsequent models are carved. Lovingly crafted down to the last detail.
